best tires for the money?

Tire performance will change over the life of the tire. Doubt if anyone is testing new tires, then testing again at, say, 10,000 miles. Way too expensive. Besides you would be testing tires with different remaining tread. Not very scientific.

i think the hankook V12s and general exclaim UHPs are two of the best bang for your buck tires

Just tracked these on Saturday and they were **** in the rain... worked fairly well when it dried out though. Experienced the same on street.

Have had great results from Hankook's V12's as a sport summer only tire.
