Default best tires for the money?

Let me start this off by saying that i did do a search but all that came up was either marketplace ads or problems with peoples tires i.e; noise, leaking air etc.

with that out of the way let me say that the z is my first actual high performance car and am not sure if whats happening to me is normal or not.

my problem is that my kumho ecsta asx's seem to lose grip whenever i stop and make a turn like pulling into my side street. it seems that no matter how easy i go they seem to squeal and i end up going a little sideways. the tires are less than 6 mos old with less than 3000 miles on them.

what im trying to say i guess is that when it comes time to buy new tires, which seems to me will be sooner than expected, what would be your choice without getting like dot approved racing tires.

p.s. sorry for the rambling

I'm running VREDESTEIN Ultrac Sessanta's. Look them up, compare, then decide. I'm running 295/19R 275/19F, My set was about 850.00. Def best 800 set of tires I have ever had!

the hankook evo v12s are a pretty good bang for the buck tire, you could try looking at those.

Your best bet is to use Tirerack.com or DiscountTireDirect.com and look at their comparison reports. Unbiased.

I too recommend Hankook V12.Depending on what you are looking for in a tire&budget.
These are SUMMER tires. They are quiet...track well.Very close(if not better than the PS2'S.Also,a great looking tire!
