tire size question

Default tire size question

Now i have stock 17 inch wheels and i want to buy a set of federal ss595 and on my wheels i have falkens and the sizes 225/50 in front and 235/50 in the rear. The website i want to buy the federals from have 225/50 but dont have 235/50 would it be ok to do 225/45 in the front and 235/45 in the back

As long as you don't care about speedo/odometer being off a little. Those tires won't be as tall as the OEM tires were.

235/45 x17

Actual speed 100 MPH. Speedometer with read 103.65 MPH. This is not acceptable.

Just order tires from another site. Just google tires there are lots of online dealers that will give you wwhat you want perf ride whatever.Good luck Roy B

yeah but from what i know federals are pretty bad *** and theyre a good price

I'm sure a little smaller o.d. tire will be easy to live with just give you a few extra rpms at cruising speeds myself I want a few less so I planning to go with a little higher tire.

You have also decreased rear axle ground clearance 11.75 mm. Are you good with this?
