Anyone know any red lug nuts that dont have that pinkish tone?
Looking for some red lug nuts for my 350z. The color is redline, Im just trying to avoid the "pinkish" look. I have seen rays in red, and they seemed super pink to me. Anyone have any good suggestions?

Red lug nuts, especially anodized ones are socialists at heart. They cannot help but go pink....

anything anodized (ie aluminum lugs) will eventually turn pink due to heat, as well as solvents/cleaners
steel lugs, which are painted or coated, are more resiliant

If done properly, no. Rattlecanned lug nuts will. Professionally painted with the proper paint will be much harder to chip.

Definitely want to paint them if you want the red to last.

Please stay away from the Ray's, they turned straight pink about two months later!

I wouldn't want to deal with the fading even if there was a chance for the original ones would.
I'd say keep an eye out in the classifieds. Buy a used set of lugs and get them powder coated red. I'd think they would hold up better.

Do what I just did.
Ordered Project Kics R40 in black w/ locks (Cheaper than Neo Chrome) Dropping them off tomorrow to get powder coated Red for another $50. Guy is supposed to be the best around so I will see how they hold up.
I have been told Project Kics R40 are supposed to be one of the best, if not the best lug not out. Quality/durability wise.
