Adr Wheels Vs Volk Racing

I've never seen a set of Volks sell for $2800 a set...TE's and SF series Volks in 19" are the msot expensive (other than the magnesiums}, and theyre still only $2400 a set....most 19" Volks go for around $485-$600 a rim at the most...never $700 or more

If you are going for looks only then who cares what type of rim you have as long as it is some what durable. If you care at all about performance then you will stay with a rim at least the same weight as your stock rim. Every 1 pound of rolling mass added to a vehicle is like adding 8 pounds of static weight to the car. If each rim is two pounds over the weight of the stock rim, then that is like adding 64 pounds to the car. You will feel this in acceleration the most. ADR rims are HEAVY, but consumer friendly.

ADR M-Sports aren't heavy. My ADR 19's with tires came out to be about the same weight as my stock 17's with tires.
If money is no object get Volks.... but you just can't beat the ADR M-sport. Especially when you didtch the stock ADR centercap and put a Z logo there :-)

When I Tried To Order Them, They Told there Was a 3 Month Wait...
That's Why I Chose Axis Wheels. (Available at www.wheelstudio.com) They Are Designed "Inhouse" By The Expierenced STAFF Over At Axis Wheels Located in Santa Fe Springs, Ca.
And Are Patented. To Prevent A Company From Copying Them.
And If They do...Copy A Patented Wheel,They'll "Put The Woop On Them."
(Thats What I Was Told Over By The guys @ www.wheelstudio.com)
Check Out My Ride It Sits On 20x9 with 275/30R20 Bridgstone S03's
And The Rear Was Fitted with 20x10 On 285/30R20 bridgestone S03's
Oh Dear! Was My Husbands Comment When I Pulled Into Our Garage. He Really Liked The Way the "Rear Set-up" Turned Out.
and, Believe Me...This Took The "G-RIDE" To A Whole New Level !!!

Just so you know, Axis wheels makes knockoffs of other wheels, such as their "touring cups" are knockoffs of Advans
Advan TC
Axis "touring cup"

Re: Adr Wheels Vs Volk Racing
What a funny thread. I like Volks, but I'm biased.
The only statement I had a problem with was
I guess I'm a ricer who's made of money and willing to throw it away on crap!!!

Some of the so called knock off wheels are pretty light. I use to have 17" Konig sub zeros that were very light. They were a copy of the Racing Hart cp-035 which was a bit lighter than my Konigs, but for the money saved I could not go wrong. I think the M-Sport is probably one of the better wheels ADR makes. I just think the big issue for a knock off wheel is weight. I have seen other copies of wheels that weight like 5 pounds per wheel more than the originals. Sometimes it is hard to find wheel weights to see if the cheeper price is worth the extra weight. So far I have heard the M-Sport, and the GT-7 are lighter than stock 17"s.

I owned ADR Enigma's 225/40/18 when I had my Acura CL-S. I would NEVER buy ADR again, the wheels were cheap, and so was the quality. I bent 3 of the wheels from very small potholes.
