Default TPMS differences

does anyone know if there is any reliability differences between these two types of TPMS? I need to replace the ones in my 03. i think they are both made by the same company.

Because they are made by the same company doesn't mean that they work exactly the same. Just as the 370Z sensors don't work in the 350Z, those may be electronically incompatible.

From the picture, it looks like the first set are Schrader EZ sensors, which are a universal programmable sensor. The second picture is from us which are OEM made by Schrader for Nissan. Personally I dont like to mix and match, but they should work the same as a set.

What type of SSR? When I put them on mine, I had to use the bands that go around the middle of the rim.

Most have either strapped (as in your case) the sensors or have drilled into the barrel to either mount an adapter or tpms valve plug. As far as we've seen and have mounted, these are the only ways.

We're working with SSR USA, in order to see if we can make the US market wheels Tpms friendly. Hopefully, something will come of our joint efforts.
