Default Does anyone know about this set of rims?? im about to go buy it.

I found an ad on Kijiji which is an online market place like craigslist or classifiedad. They are 18's 114 5, alloy, weight about 20 lbs. I am buying them for $400 total. The guy says they are brand new in the box, he bought them at a car show but he sold his car so these rims are useless to him now. The most he can tell me is that they are JWL tested, made in Taiwan. Ive looked everywhere on google, i cant find any review or information on these things. If the community can give me some advise or point me in the right direction before purchase itd be great

as you can see, they have the labels " RACING CXS" written on them, i am going tomorrow to buy them from him

Run away.... Don't purchase those. Their ugliness aside, would you trust your car to sit on those wheels when the company who made them was too embarrassed to put their name on them?

1) Would you trust your life and the life of your family/friends on cheap azz wheels, especially when you have no idea what quality they are?

2) They're ugly, they're small width, and the offsets are atrocious. These things will make your eyes burn with their nastiness.

If you do decide to get them, please post some pics.

Why in God's name would the thought of putting a 7.5" wide wheel on your Z even cross your mind?

Buy them. Everyone here just wants you to drop $5000 on Volks. They're perfect width and offset, everyone else is just BSing you.

Buy them, install them, and post pics.

what kind of offset is preferb? i like flush loook like 35-45 actually. But i just looked at the width chart. I dont think 7.5 is actually considered safe on my 245/45/18's in the rear

Look in the wheel and tire section for more information in regards to wheel specs. Do more reading and you won't get flamed, as much. The ones you posted are better on, say a Honda.

Do it OP.

The ridiculously high offsets along with the convex look will definitely make your Z stand out.
