Cure for the 'bounce' wanted!
Hey gang, I've been reading mixed reviews on different solutions to the bouncy ride the 350z has stock. The suspension really only gets to me when I'm on the highway and it can feel a bit like being beaten up. I'm not interested in taking the car to the track or anything other than making the ride quality more pleasing for my morning commute. Can anyone who has experience fixing the bounce with the same goal point me in the direction of a fix?
PS - I'm also not concerned with lowering the ride of the car.

If you do undertake the job, I recomend you have an impact wrench, as I doubt I would've been able to get some of the bolts undone without it.

Keep in mind that just buying $200 Eibachs will solve the bounce, but it will also whack your camber. You will need to add at least another $250 in camber rods to keep from burning your tires. Oh, but now that the camber is corrected, you might need to add traction rods to fix a bad toe. That's another $200.
So, you are up to $650 or so and everything is ok. If you went instead with the Tein Basics for around $850, you would have some adjustabiliy too (lowering/raising). However, lower too much and you will again need the traction and camber arms mentioned above.
Just some more detailed information to keep in mind. Why does no one mention the camber issues when they simply say "Eibach"?

I had the Eibachs. The bounce was NOT cured and it was VERY MARGINALLY even helped. There were camber issues. I installed LSDUniques camber rods to correct that as stock would not adjust back into spec. The toe will adjust back into spec just fine with the stock toe adjustment. For coilover drops and other bigger drops you will need traction rods to get back into spec.
I have the S-Tune. It helps the bounce A LOT. The drop is milder and camber should be able to be adjusted into spec without issue. I do not know for sure because I am waiting on LSD's a-arms to arrive to get the front camber where I want it.
I love the way the Eibachs make the car sit, IMO, perfectly. I love the way the S-Tune makes the car ride and handle extremely well. The S-Tune is the answer to this topic's question. The Eibachs are the answer to a badass stance.
