Default What do you think of the color?

I know that Z drivers love their lips, but I saw these wheels in the Marketplace and had to have them. They're 5zigen gravis wheels, but they were completely sanded down when I bought them. I prepped and painted them myself thinking that I'd love to try bronze on black or repaint them if I didn't.

Anyway, I really like the color, but I think it looks a little weird with chrome door handles. What do you guys think? Think the wheels would look better if I painted them a really dark gray/gunmetal? Or maybe more of a gold?

Not feeling the wheels or color

I'd go with a gunmetal color or maybe even black

Yeah I definitely know the wheels aren't for everyone, but I like them.

I considered black, but I feel like black rims on a black car is so cliche. Plus it'd make me want to black everything else out- which would like **** since I'd be doing it cheaply haha. Thanks for the advice though! I might try the dark gunmetal.

I like it. Now paint the door handle.

I'm not a fan of the color and would suggest getting a larger rear tire and doing some suspension work

Prop for doing something different with the 5-Zigens

Suspension is definitely on the list, but being my daily driver I haven't really prioritized it yet.

I love your Z by the way, one of the most tastefully modded ones I've seen.

The wheels look good man. I concur that grey or gunmetal would look better though.

I like the wheels but I don't think they go well on the Z.

Yeah the responses are sort of like I expected, wheel wise I think it's either something that you love or you hate. You don't see anything like that on Z's usually, so I wanted something a little different.

Color wise, I may go with a dark gray color. Not sure exactly how it would look, but can't hurt!

my honest opinion, i think they look pretty good. if it were me, id get some thicker thires, that profile is just wayyyyy too small. it looks like when people put big "chrome rimz" on their suv with tiny tires. if you got good looking tires and lowered it, id think it would look sick. i daily drive my z and i have coilovers and im decently low and its fine for dailying. the roads here have bigger potholes than the diameter of your wheels, teaches you to be a good handling driver lol. new tires and coilovers is the key to your solution. i personally dont mind the door handles, they dont look bad with the bronze. good luck man

I just noticed the white Jeep in the background has the same wheels in silver.

I like the color. Bronze can actually go well with a lot and it's nice to see something other than the brushed aluminum or black wheel look. 5zigen is a pretty solid wheel. But, the fitment is horrible imo. I'd get rid of some of that gap. A nice set of Eibach springs would do wonders for you. Either that or more tire.

The bronze doesn't look too bad. I think with a bit more of a gold flake in it it would look awesome.
