Cheap tires
Hey guys I got this deal for new tires (80 each) I have not bought the tires yet, asking here first
Tires size 285/40/18 Goodyear eagle F1 supercar tires.
I know I can use them in the back on a 10 inch rim, but what about the front?
I know the ideal size in the front is 275/35/18.
They will look too big? Will have a problem running them in 10 inch rims in the front?
should, I buy the rear and get the 275 in front?, car is a 03,stock ride height.
thanks
thanks

285/40 is almost 13mm taller than an OEM front 225/45 but it is almost the the same height as the rear 245/45. I would put them on the rear wheels.
Yes, it is ok to put 10" wide wheels on the front depending on the offset. 275/35 in the front and 285/40 in the rear will be just fine and keep your VDC happy (if you have it).
Here's an example of 265/40 and 285/40 with a Nismo suspension (>1" drop):

Thanks for the reply and link ,the 275/40 look a little beefed in the front, but no bad
I think the 35 in 10 is the ideal size for me
**List your wheel size/width/and offset. 80$ for those tires new is crazy cheap.***
I am running the xxr 521 wheels
Front 245/40/18 -8.5 wide offset 25 in front
Rear 275/40/18 .10 wide offset 25 I was asking because for the price of the tires I can order two more rims 10 wide and still save money.
