Can these be repaired?
Hey guys, just bought my 350z Friday! Such an awesome car.
Its a 2005 base MT.
Anyway, I got a set of 19" Volk Racing rims with the car. The guy said he bought them off a car that was in an accident. They are pretty banged up. I just want to know what you guys think. Can they be repaired? Can I just buy the outside lip, would that be better?
3 out of the 4 are damaged. 2 are damaged on the outside and inside, 1 only the inside.

You would have to get new barrels, btw they are only 2 pieces wheels not three so there is no inner/outer barrel, its all one piece with the center bolted to it.
Contact wheelflip, they should be able to take care of ya, this wont be a cheap fix just so ya know.

I don't mind putting some money toward them since I got them for free and I REALLY like the looks of them. I was thinking of getting the centers powder coated black and leaving the barrel polished.BTW: One rim isn't too bad, it's the last picture. I think that one can be fixed 100%. Only problem is I have 1 good rear and 1 good front then lol.

You can get anything fixed…that doesnt mean it's a good idea nor does it mean its a good place to spend your money…
if I were in your shoes, I would get a quote to see how much they'd set you back, but I would look to spend that same money to buy a new or 'gently' used set...

Nice find man. I really appreciate it. Might be able to find some barrels.
The guy I bought it from said he spoke to a shop that said $150 each for the 2 bad ones and $50 for the not-so-bad one. I was hoping to stay under $750. They still need some rubber

That seems really light…a buddy of mine had his pegasus wheels(OEM wheels on the volvo S60R - which he tells me are the hottest **** ever) and he paid 250 per wheel to get damage fixed that was 1/4 of what you have…but there are many variables here, so maybe get a few quotes...
