Anyone know if the Hiros in 8.5 will fit the stock rubber?

Yes they will, but the lowest offset they make in the 8.5 size is a 35mm... which will make the wheels look very sunk-in

its's not lowered. i'm still debating whether or not to lower the car. on one hand I love the look, but on the other I can barely get into some driveways etc as it is (my parent's beach house being one of them ).

on a side note...is it just me or does anyone else notice a kind of optical illusion with low offset rims making the car look slightly lower than stock? i'm guessing its because the rims come all the way out to the edge of the wheel well closing off alot of visible space around the wheel...or more obviously that the larger diameter rims fill up the wheel wells more. maybe this effect is good enough for me...dunno...opinions are appreciated on this subject.

whatdya think...do the new 19's make the car look lower than the stock 18's?

Thanks... actually I can't seem to find my other pics.. I'll take some this weekend and post them...

Zeroday: great taste in wheels dude ... and yup I'd say that the 19s make the car look lowered... I went to a meet a few days after installing mine and most people asked if i dropped my car AND strangely, i had two people ask if i tinted my windows? ... must be an optical illusion because of the gunmetal

should probably mention though that the "lowered" look depends on the tires you run when it comes to 19s... a lot of people who run 275/30/19s in the back (or smaller) complain that the wheel gap is too big... reason is because they lost an inch in sidewall...

So I was looking up the one package on wheelstudio.com and they have the 19x9.5/30 for the back an 19x8.5/35 on front...does the profile look the same even though they the front is 35 and the back is 30? DOes the 275 rear tire look nice an meaty from behind?

I'm wondering how much I could get for my touring rims..hhhmmmm.

I guess if you have the brembos the offset is -20...but if you have the regular brakes its -35, but a guy at another online store said since they're 19", it wouldn't be a problem. Still about a 4-6 week wait on the 18" package..and its about 1000.00 less. I may just wait. Can't beat 1499.99 for an 18" package.

I went through wheel studio, paid a bit extra and got Toyo tires mounted on the back,
