Additionally, there are 3 TPMS locations in these positions. I really hope things work out too, thanks br0. I should find out later today on whether or not i'll be getting that barrel for free or not. You're right. All principle
I don't think you want rubber valve stems? Can't you get a rebuild kit for the TPMS? They're cheap.

Here's the Volks>>

The regular valve stems look like this. Do you think I should replace the rubber one's that belong to the TPMS? Either way, if I get that spare barrel i'll only have 2 TPMS locations, i'd have to either drill 2 holes (which I hear is bad to do) or band them.

Would this work for the TPMS?

The opposite side is going to have a ton of weights to balance out the 90 degree valve stem, lock nuts, bracket, additional TPMS sensor with valve.

One of the rear wheels has a lot of .25 FE weights, but the others look fine..not a whole bunch

Is that going to be a PITA to deal with?

Just balance it...# weights isn't a biggie, since you have no choice..just do it and see what happens.

Thanks, I appreciate it.

Seller made me purchase the spare barrel for $250. Not happy. Like mentioned before, it's all about the principle..not price. Once that barrel arrives i'll be swapping the face to that one, and keeping this hack job welded barrel as a backup. If it was the same width, I wouldn't have really cared but like I said before things like this need to be disclosed before payment is sent. My advise to anyone on here is to really make sure you are buying from a well-known member of the site. The seller of this transaction had a perfect iTrader rating, so I decided to go through with it...but clearly that was a mistake

I have a friend in Washington that wrecked one of his GTS wheels, so he will be giving me those assembly bolts which will be just enough to have a complete set of matching wheels. In the meantime, i'm going to take these to a wheel repair specialist to make them look like-new again. Some of the stickers are peeling off, but they're all there. I'll talk to them and see what they think my options are for that. I also bought some iForged TPMS adaptors to attach to the regular valve stems so I don't have to drill a hole in this 4th wheel. It still blows me away that this guy had HOLES DRILLED IN HIS VOLK WHEELS just for TPMS.

Just noticed this thread, and wow, I'd be pissed as hell. At this point PayPal claim, and negative feedback, no more questions/negotiations. Seller is an a-hole scammer.

This has been really frustrating, and i've been trying to keep my cool but enough is enough. I have never been so disappointed in my life. advancetek/Anthony should not be allowed to conduct any sort of business on this site.

"I'm d second owner of d wheels I don't know d history before" - How can you even say this? You are responsible as the seller to disclose all known history of an item prior to closing the deal. And clearly you did know because after the wheels were shipped and you had the funds, you said it has "sealer that goes over the weld. The barrels are welded that wheel got re finished/clean up by wheel flip"

Had I known these were previously hacked up with a crappy weld, drilled barrels for TPMS, and missing/loose bolts...I would have never gone through with this nightmare. I will ensure no one else on this site has to go through this ever again.

He edited the for sale thread where I found the wheels, but the description was just about the same as this one below. I had also spoke to him over the phone prior to purchasing..

Exactly. A fraudulent seller.

Thank you (and everyone else) for pushing me in the right direction. I have filed a claim with PayPal and have linked both threads for their review.

A 3mm spacer will change the offsets by 3mm. That doesn't help with the difference in width. If your paypal is charged through your credit card company I'd file a claim there as well.
