Default 17x8 all around?

I have a 2003 350z with TCS. I have the stock 17 inch rims right now, 225/50s on the front and 235/50s on the rear. My question is, If I get 4 17x8 rims and put the 225s in the front on the 17x8 and the 235s on the back, will it affect TCS? Thanks

Nope, but why would you buy a 17x8. There is no good reason to replace stock 17's with what you are asking about.

I really dont care about bigger rims and I have new tires on the stock rims. Not too mention I have a buddy with these rims, so I can get them cheap. So what would make TCS mess up?

You'd be amazed what a car on 225/45/17 on 8s could do on the track. Even this car.
Then again..maybe ya already know that.

If you get 17" rpf1 in a 10 width and run 275 all around, you'd be a hero around here. Well until someone shows up with 315 all around.

This is a waste of time and money, save for a real set of wheels
