Default One quick question about tire size

I have 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear
And I am looking to buy 235/40/18 for front and 275/35/18 for rear
Is there any issues with this set up? as I check them only 0.7 differences.
Don't know if this is VDC happy setup.

I also have a tire question I was thinking of running 225/35/19 front and 255/35/19 rear. Will this work with the car? I have an 04 enthusiast (17")

You may see a SLIP light under aggressive driving because your rear tire would only be a couple millimeters taller than the front.

It will work (not on 17" wheel of course) but your rear tire will look much fatter than the front from a profile point of view. I would go with at least a 235/35 in the front.

245/40 front and 275/40 rear is the proper size

You are much better off with 225/40 front and 245/40 rear, that would be OEM size if whad a 19 inch option like the G35 does.

Then how some people used square tire setup? Did they just turn off the VDC?

Seem a bit short actually. I would run 245/40-18 275/40-18.

245/35-19 and 285/35-19 would work nicely.

255/35 minumum and 285/35 going agains my better judgement. I would rather not make the car handle worse that stock, but ......

I think you should not use this setup but if you really want to use it so as a precaution inspect it from a car care center. They will advise you well.
