just curious since I daily my z
and should I put coilover first before put new wheels?
also I saw some ppl put square set up like this and put 15mm spacer in rear..?why???

thnks for advices
VDC may not like it, different model years work better or worse with a square system. Mine is an 03 and does not like square setups. I have to turn VDC off at all times and I completely disable it for track use.

Stock height you will still rub up front and rear under full compression. The rear needs a roll and the front will require added camber.

Rear spacer, some people do it to get the figment just right for their liking. I run a 5 mm in the rear with my setup , I believe Columbo runs a 10mm with his identical combo.

Honestly, I wouldn't run a 285 square combo for street use. Most if us who run this combo use it for track use

first of all Thank you for input sir!!

I see... yeah since I use my Z mainly for daily and some track days that was why i was thinking about square set up tho... also my track z friend recommended but they use their z for track only too
. so it would be better for me just do stagger setup...
wanna stick to RPF1 tho

if i put 9.5 instead of 10.5 will it still rub?? i prob gonna roll fender for sure before install coilovers

so if I get 18x9.5 +15 front and 18x10.5 +15 rear should be ideal for me than....for daily and track use

thank you again, and sorry keep asking about set ups

18x10.5 +15, 275/35 , rolled rears. you should be more concerned about tires sizes. those proposed offsets are fine. i.e.

Hey guys, I don't post much, I usually find most of my information using the SEARCH tool but have had no luck this time.

I am trying to do something that I know may not be the norm, But really want try and get this done. I can elaborate more but the question is:

Can I get a 305/30/19 to fit in the rear without rolling the fender?
The wheel is a High offset +47 10.5", I will be using a spacer, so I'm trying to figure out what may be the best option. A 25mm spacer will put me at +22 which seems to be a common offset for the 10.5" wheels here, but most of what I found has a 305 tire on a 10.5" +22 wheel requiring a -3 camber and rolled fenders.

I would like to maybe go with a 15mm spacer (+32) and get the wheel to not need much camber or rolled fenders, but feel that that may not allow enough interior wheel well space. Does any one have experience they could share?

Thanks

Default Wheel setup ????

I'm thinking about running 18x10 +25 all around ! How would 255/35/18 front and 275/35/18 rear fit ? Would I need soacers ? Fenders rolled or pulled?

Do you have Brembos or standard 350Z brakes? Which wheel model are you thinking of?

Not familiar with that wheel or manufacturer. But it sounds like you'll have a better chance of caliper clearance with the OEM brakes. Unless you're lowered, I suspect you can run the 255/275 combo without rolling the fenders. Just a guess, unless someone else has some real world experience...

Non brembo brakes should clear the +25 offset easily, and the need to roll/pull fenders will depend on whether you're lowered or not. But +25 is not that aggressive of an offset so u should be ok either way unless ur slammed.

Now, I don't know if u can expect much from a $500 set of wheels though, I would save up a bit more an get at least some varrstoens......

Looking to get a set of 17 inch ENKEI RPF1s, but needing some advice on what wheel width and tire size I should be going with to avoid rubbing or issues with TCS.

I'm quite liking this setup (17x9.5 +18) but was thinking 17x10 would fill out the arches a little better
https://my350z.com/forum/wheels-and-...nkei-rpf1.html

Diameter: 17
Offset: +18
Width: ??
Tire Size: ???/??/R17
Suspension: Eibach ProKit (lowered about an inch)

Thoughts?

Great wheel combo, but I would shy away from it unless it's a track car. Even if it's a track car, 17 inch tire availability is getting crappy

Rear will be close, and will depend on the amount if camber

I did rears only tonight because I was on a time crunch! I think the driver side has more negative camber than the passenger side. Sits lowww. Im curious how much more drop will happen after the springs settle and if the camber can be matched on both sides with an allignment? Doing front Sunday. This is not my DD btw so it will be sitting till then. Ill drive it like it is for a week or two then have an allignment done. Im very satisfied with it as of right now!!! So cant wait to see it after the fronts dropped!! Ill keep updating and post pics after it's all completed. Thanks!
