Default looking into getting new wheels.. opinions?

I am looking into either the Avant Garde M310 matte black, or the varrstoen 2.2.2 Hyper black

Specs:
Avant Garde M310- Fr-19x9.5 +20 Re-19x11 +18

Varrstoen 2.2.2- Fr-19x9.5 +12 Re-19x10.5 +12

Opinions?

I like both but there are 2 problems with the varrs, one is that they are replica wheels and two is that everybody has them. You'll spend all that money and your car will look no different than thousands of other Z's.

Yeah the fact they are replicas doesn't bother me, If they're replicas thats what they are long as you don't put no stickers on them and try to pull em off as the real thing when they're not. But I think they look great on the Z but those avant garde look so nice too :/ hard decision!

Moved to the correct forum..

Of the two I would go with the AG's but I would rather not have either for my personal vehicle and would suggest a nice light set of Enkei's instead

+1

Oppose to legit wheels and look the same as other Z's with real wheels. Damned if you do damned if you don't.

On choice of wheels

310s are nice when the car is modded correctly, the 2.2.2s are classic look on the Z's and I'd keep searching the market place for a second hand if your stil hooked on reps.

The only thing planned for it right now is I am gonna lower it, I have a mine's front lip so don't know how well the AGs will go with that, I have seen the avant garde in person, and the Varrs but the Varrs look so nice IMO even tho they're replicas

$1500 hmm.. As mentioned before Enkei on the higher end of your budget, bunch of XXRs for a fraction. I still see left over stock 19" Racing Harts from certain vendors here in SoCal for about 1500. Then there's Rota, or Konig who has licensed MAT technology from Enkei. The AGs are too euro for the Z and the Varrs are too direct of a knock off of Volks. You can find some decent used quality wheels from Work, Rays, and AME. Less known with the newer guys... Japanese brands include Buddy Club and 5Zigen.

Well, let me tell you my opinion about Avant Garde. I used to have this exact settings. When you put 19x11 +18, you need to do "roll fender" for that. You will hear the tires rubbing the fender on hard cornering. 19x11 +18 is very aggressive setup.

Just FYI. If you dont want to deal with this hassle, then better off go with higher offset.

My fenders are already rolled! SO don't think rubbing will be an issue I am gonna do a drop first got Eibach sportlines and then go from there I am debating with maybe going with 18s now for a lighter wheel option I have hankook v12 tires on 18s on the car now and I really don't wanna get rid of those tires being they are still new!

Now that's a great decision, make sure you get proper/aggressive specs.

Excellent decision. Dodged a piece-of-junk-wheel bullet right there.
