HIFLY HF805 Review...
Before you guys get started flaming me for buying cheap chinese tires I just wanted to say, I didn't. They came with the car when I bought it from Carmax.
Since I have them and they are pretty much brand new I thought I'd review them since there pretty much isn't a single review anywhere on these tires.
They are the stock 03' 6MT Touring sizes and currently have about 4k miles on them.
Road noise/ride: 8/10
These ride surprisingly well and are very quiet. I'd say the interior noise in my Z is about on par with any of the modern sport compacts running about and I've been in them all. Ride quality is about the same as a Speed3 but stiffer than a 2010 WRX.
Wet Grip: 8/10
Fairly good. My car is stock and I can floor it in 2nd without the tires breaking loose if I'm rolling at around 25-30mph.
Dry Grip: 8/10
I ran second FTD for non-corvettes at a local autox only being beaten by a gutted miata on RS3s. The tires didn't get greasy and had pretty good turn in response. They have surprisingly good grip for launches, I'll chirp into second but they'll hook right after. Even mashing it in second gear to try and get the rear to come around only causes the car to accelerate forward.
These are all seasons by the way with a 280 treadwear, only one other car that day had all seasons, every one else had summers or DOT Race compounds.
Would I buy them myself? Probably not, lol. I'll run these until spring then replace them with some ZIIs most likely.
Just thought I'd share for any of you more budget conscious owners out there.
