Default Which wheel for my Z (2 choices)

I've narrowed it down to two choices for new wheels, I've done a rough shop.

Having never seen either wheel in the flesh as no one has them and no local vendors supply them. I was looking for some input from people that might have had or seen both. Which do you think suits my car?

Reminds me of BMurray's car. Look for his thread and go from there. He's owned both sets and has a similar color car.

Really I want to say neither but if you force me to choose I say the first choice

Second choice is a one-piece cast replica of a 3 piece wheel which just spells trouble

1st pic for sure.
The 2nd choice reminds me of the cheapo rims that come on a base base base base base model camaro

The top is a TE37 rep and the bottom is the Work Meister rep. I don't like TE37's so I'd say go with the bottom one. Both of them are very well shown throughout this board in both replica and real version. What looks better is purely subjective. They're are two completely different wheels and go towards two completely different styles. While you can find both in the "track" AND "show" side, the top one is found more on "functional" setups while the bottom is typically found on the "show" side of things.

For reference, the top is a TE37 wheel. The bottom is a Work Meister/SSR Professor wheel. The top can be found under Varrstoen under the ES2 and the bottom can be found under the Varrstoen as the ES6. The bottom also has a Rota rep called the D2 (and D2-EX). The top has a Rota Grid replica. If I remember correctly, Konig and Enkei both make reps as well. So, there's a lot of places to find that bottom wheel.

Pricing is going to run you in the 1k range for reps, and 2-4k range for the real deal. And, lastly, get the bottom one.

The top photo.Actually,I prefer a mesh design wheel on a Z.Check the ones on my Z PICS.More of alloy look would balance your car color nicely.I'd get tired of the black wheel real quick.Addition of some CF accents woulld look great.

if you look for aggressive style go for the volks, if you wanna go flush then go for the works.

Go with the wheels on the top. The Volk Te37 are the best. If you cannot afford these, then go with the Varrstoen, which is what the top picture shows.
