Question Just ordered wheels need tire suggestions please.

I was searching around Craigslist and found that Varrstoen was blowing out out their 18x10.5 +15 (and other offsets) ES1's in Hyper Black. I couldn't pass up the deal up so I bought a set.

I want the tires to have the same amount of slight stretch or fit square. And I only want to lower it on a set of drop springs and have to roll the rear fenders at the most (no pulling etc.).

I was originally thinking a 245/40/18 set or 265/35/18 set.

But isn't the ride height different between the front and rear when dropped on say Tanabe GF210's?

So I did some searching and came up with some other options where the front and rear tires have same stretch but different heights.

1. Rear 265/40/18 Front 265/35/18
2. Rear 255/40/18 Front 255/35/18
3. Rear 245/40/18 Front 245/35/18

I'm leaning towards option 2 because they have a little stretch and the tires are priced more reasonable.

BTW I have a base model with no VDC etc. And I plan on running a rear spacer at some point.

What do you guys think?

I meant that as option 1 .. just fat fingered it. Have you ran either of these sizes as I noticed you have went through a few sets of rims lately?

Would a 275/35 and 275/40 setup really look the same except for height?
Wouldn't the front have more contact patch, ie look wider?
