Volk GTF Thread!!
Here we go...
Mixed feelings for most including myself at first, until I saw it in person. The diamond cut and the 2 tone just contrasts perfectly. Lip is not too big like the GTS' where it can eat up a small child, but it's still quite big (about 4 inches out back).
Got woken up this morning with a huge hangover by a Fedex delivery man... Almost cursed him out for waking me up until I saw the 4 big boxes sitting beside him...
Volk GTF Magnesium Blue
19x9.5 +17 F
19x10.5 +24 R (same lip as Brian's +15, but less aggressive so I can fit bigger tires and less camber due to the hp levels...)
Toyo T1R
255/35/19 F
285/35/19 R
I have to thank a couple people...Andy@Performance and Rick@Status. Andy had these wheels and the second I said I wanted them, he held them for me. I needed these quick because my car will be shipped off next week due to my move, but Rick didn't have any 285/35/19's in stock for the rear. So we waiting until Thursday (2 days ago). Rick called Andy and told him the tires were in, and Andy drove the wheels over right away. Rick mounted and balanced right away and shipped out the same day. Showed up on my doorstep today.
Another thing to note...this may sound stupid to some vendors, but to the right people, this shows business class, and trust not only in vendors, but the other way around (vendors trusting in customers). When they were shipping out the wheels, they called me for payment, but I was in a meeting at work and I needed the wheels to be shipped out. My CC was in my office and I couldn't get it due to the meeting. They shipped out anyways, and told me to give them the CC the next day. Both of them. Thanks Andy and Rick!!
enough talk...here are some pics:
And what's a GT-Series wheel pic without showing the lip?
pics on car will come tomorrow night...

wow....those look really nice in the pics.
70mm A-Disc Front and 95mm C-Disc in the rear....bad ***.
I'm curious to see if the rear clear the BBKs like Stoptech and AP Racing.

WOW!! Those look so much better than what I would have thought. When you think blue you think blue?? But, that actually looks REALLLY good. Congrats. Sounds like A+++ service as well.

Thanks for all the comments guys. This is definitely one of those love it or hate it wheels. I hated them from the beginning, and Brian (Volk350Z) knows that . But after seeing them in person, what a difference. A lot of details on these wheels don't show well on camera...like the sharpness of the diamond cut (it just looks "silver" on camera), the high contrast of the mag blue (or whatever color you get), and the shape of the spokes. Those are hard to capture on camera. Even seeing the wheels in person, didn't tell me how it'll look on the car. But once it's on, it's very very nice.
Let's put it this way...these are a lot "shinier" and "sharper" than the GTS' due to the precision of the diamond cut. It gives the car a lot more "edge" as a whole, which is very hard to do with multi-spoke wheels.
Hard to explain, but I hope my points get across...
