Yokohama Advans, EnVigors etc. I've ran every tire they have in the states and love them. Then again I do work for Yokohama also Quality Assurance. Tirerack.com has the best prices for them.

You may not "hot rod" around, but your Z certainly does. As a high performance sportscar with low profile tires, it's never going to have a truly cushy ride. But look at some of the latest all-season tires (I like the General AS-03) and research some of the tests and customer comments at Tire Rack before you make a choice.

Certain tires just "work" on certain cars.
If you are looking for a smooth quiet ride in comparison to the OEM
tires that come on a Z,my vote is for Hankook V-12's.
I replaced my OEM Bridgestone 17's years ago with 19's.
Thought the ride quality would be worse because of a lower sidewall.
Its much smoother and very quiet.Of course, due to a staggered set up,you
can't rotate your tires.Due to this, your rears may suffer after some miles
with inside camber wear. You'll hear some singing...Furthermore,the v-12's
have a rather soft sidewall. Not good for extreme track conditions.
They are also a great looking tire.

If you are indeed an old fart and want a smooth ride with little noise then I suggest the V12s as well. Their sidewalls are rediculsly soft and they run very quitely but provide a good level of grip and are quite cheap.

Would running a softer tire make it easier for your wheel to bend if you hit a Pothole?? A harder compound tire would protect the wheel more or am i wrong ? Im not sure but its what was thinking..

We have small sidewalls; if you hit a pot hole hard enough, you're going to eff up your wheel regardless hardness/softness.

the v12 will give you a decent ride, i have ran them for 2 years and just recently decided that the sidewall is too soft for me during spirited driving

Add Nitto Invo to that list. Nice and comfy tires. It's quite grippy too.

Default I vote for Michelin PS2's

I've stuck with Michelin PS2's since I got rid of the OEM's. Yea, they are a little expensive but I'm and old fart to..I just save up and get them....8^)..

Rather than asking a bunch of random people you can search through Tire Rack for specific reviews and ratings

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/survey...y.jsp?type=UHP

Nearly highest rated tire in terms of comfort is what I run - Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports
