Default 17" Wheel Suggestions

Just purchased a full set of rims online; Drag DR-34 (17X7.55-100/11445FBF)

So yes I'll have a 04 Touring with the 17"s..hahaha laugh it up!
IMO, so far my car looks pretty damn clean!

ANYWAYS, I'm trying to get that "flush" look I keep seeing, my question is what size spacers do I need?

I prefer to use the same tires I have on my stock set-up now; 225/50 and 235/50, just as long I get them flush, otherwise I'll get new ones, but tires are still 70%-80% tread.

Thoughts on the ICHIBA V2 Spacers I keep seeing on ebay?

I hope you can cancel that order. The only offsets available in those sizes are +42 and +45 which means they will be sunk in 3/4" more than your OEM wheels. You will need to buy a 20mm spacer just to get them to stick out as far as your OEM wheels. FYI, a pair of Ichiba spacers cost as much as 1 of those wheels you bought so now you're spending all this extra money when you could have used that money to buy wheels that are suited for your car. You have some reading to do. Good luck.

they do, i have a set of 17x9 +27 (i think)... you just need to look at width and offset a little more.

Do some research like others have said. Do it right the first time instead of bandaging it with spacers.

If you are looking for 17's there should be a ton of options. What makes you set on that specific wheel?

Save more money and upsize to 18" wheels so that the options are greater

You're not doing it right if you are trying to use OEM tire sizes and are trying to be "flush" with a wider set of wheels. You will then need to get the appropriate tires for that setup and then you might as well upsize in that case

They have 17x9 if that works, but I see no offset and won't I need new tires?

These Rial Norano's, there 17X8 w/ 35mm offset f&r look REAL tasty, I have to call discounttire tomm and cancel this previous order ASAP

http://www.5zigen.co.jp/english/prod...l/zr_plus.html listed on the website. 17x9 +27 all around would be what you need. Then run a 10 to 15mm rear spacer when you get a chance. Then when the tires wear out, buy 275/40-17 all around.

I would go for 18's unless you autocross or hit the roadcourse.
