Default Noisy Summer/Performance Tires

I swap a wheel/tire setup between winter and summer. When I began doing this swap, I expected my winter tires (larger lugs and tread, etc.), to generate more noise than my summer tires but I found the opposite was true. The winter tires ran more quietly (and more comfortably)

I experimented some more and noticed that all-season tire also ran more quietly than summer/performance tires.

I have a 2003 350z; it has very little sound deadening. Tire noise/roar is a consideration.

What summer/performance tire do you run that you consider favorable for sound reaching the Z’s interior?

PS: I searched, and searched, and researched some more… and this question deserves a fresh answer/treatment.

Which Falken's did you have - the 452 or 453?

452s. 245/35/19 and 275/35/19.
All it took was a little wear on the inside for them to roar. My car is fully dynamat so it helped. I also have the fender liners deadened. I am yet to drive on the hankook thought . Bought them based on research

Hmmm . . . I've got 452's now, OEM '08 sizes, and don't find them to be very noisy at all. Front's have about 20K miles and rears have about 5K on them.

I recently bought a set of 18" LMGT4 wheels and was trying to decide between the 453's or V12's, as the price is nearly identical. I'm looking for daily-driver tires, and want a reasonable mix of performance, wear, and noise.
