Default Official Wheel Weights thread?

I know there are a lot of sites that state the weights of various wheels but very few have the weights in the sizes our Gs and Zs use.

List what wheels weigh if you have personally weighed them and in what size.

If this goes well can we sticky it??

i don't see a point when so many sites have an archive of this.

I thought maybe we could have one that is more specific to our cars and the rims we have in specific sizes.

If not, feel free to delete this, just an idea thats all.

I think its a good idea. If you are against it Vic, please feel free to post a link to a site that has them archived.

I tried joining wheelspecs.com because they seem to have every wheel, but even after I joined it does not list weights.

If anyone has a good current wheel weight link post it.

Most of the ones I find out there are old and dont have the weights of the best wheels!

I think it's a great idea also. I can't seem to get two vendors to give me the same weights on the exact same wheel. Most of the info is "it's about..."

I think thats how every site will be.

unless someone has a balanced scale with extreme accuracy, its hard to get 2 scales to read the same thing when your talking a lb or 2 of error.

I weighed the performance rims at 26lbs if I remember correctly. how accurate that is, I dont know, I weighed them myself on a bathroom scale.

I was told TE37s are 18lbs. never weighed them.

If we could make a thread that basically gave wheel specific it would probably reduce the same questions being asked over and over again since not all info can be found when doing a search.

There are wide wheels out there for example that fit without rolling the fenders, it would be good to know which 10 inch or 10.5 inch wide wheel would fit with what offset etc.

Vic: Is it ok if we try to create such a data base in a stickied thread and see how it goes? I think it would be valuable to new members looking at specific on wheels.
