Not with this type of gash, it didn't even puncture the sidewall just took a little chunk of it out

The scenario you are imagining only applies for punctures

That being said, if it was my car I wouldn't run this tire looking like this but I am very **** about my Z

That being said, if it was my car I wouldn't run this tire looking like this but I am very **** about my Z
So just because it hasn't been puncture means it never will? The gash compromise the integrity and strength of the side wall. One pot hole or bump and it could mean a blow out.

Without it being inspected by a professional, both of our scenarios are just assumptions with yours being the worst case scenario
