Default any one run with out tire sensors ?

i have an 08 350z and want to run my stock rims and tires for the snow and don't want to mess up my new rims with the snow chains , my stock rims and tires don't have the sensors any more so would it be ok to them , or would it mess with the ecu some out like limp mode or something , having the tire light on all the time?

Nothing should happen to your ECU. The only drawback of not having sensors is the light will be on all the time but it won't hurt anything.

I don't know if it's the same on later models but on my '03 the TPMS light doesn't come on until after continuous driving for 30 miles or so. No beeps or noises. The light turns off when I shut the car off.

I have a 2003 Performance model. I don’t have tire pressure sensors in my winter tire/wheel-setup; my TPMS dash-light is initially dark and comes on after driving for about 30 minutes.

+1 My 03 touring takes a while to come on, ad when it does I just turn the car off and back on and its gone for another 30 min or so

Mine are always on. Bought the car that way. Doesn't put it in limp mode or anything.

No TPMS since 05, but did put them on my new daily wheels a couple months ago.

Haven't had tpms since since 12. It's been a good time. However, I have a few "regular lights" on these days. lol
