Default MST wheels knock offs?

I saw a picture of a D2 drift teams new 370z.. and what looked to be some RPF1's..

But I kept noticing their tags were of MST wheels.. looked and saw they run MST suzukas aka a almost exactly clone of RPF1's. Even their site lists they are a design replication of RPF1's.

Price is about the same, and you can't really crap on quality due to full drift and race teams running them fully.

Has any one ever heard of MST wheels? More so MST Suzukas? How do they stack to RPF's?

Are these a rip off or what?

MST Suzuka

They're actually a good looking wheel in person but sizing is not something I'd consider.... something like 18x11 +12 or something close that will surely need serious roll and/or camber.

They're also really cheap so I'd put them in the category of "Ehhh, probably work but I wouldn't chance 'em." But that's just me....

They're all over Fleabay.

No knowledge on them, but drift teams run what is free and what they are paid to run.

Yea I saw someone else ask them.

Their reason was they are $50 cheaper per wheel. They would rather run these being they are cheaper to smash up since you crash so often or blow tires and have a high chance of trashing rims. So they just run these to not have fear in busting them open.

Fleabay always has knockoff caps of varying designs and sizes. I bought a set of design-ripoff caps for one of my Volk sets couple years ago and without looking at them in my hand, they were identical (in look) to the originals.

No, I'm not advocating for the copy companies - not by a long shot - but I took the money I saved (like $200) on a purely cosmetic item and put it into a set of real tires or bars or something that actually helped my car do its job. Priorities...

Something like these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Enkei-RPF1-C...LbJK0g&vxp=mtr
