Looking for ALL black aftermarket rims
Just as the title says, looking for rims that are completely gloss black, no colored logos, no silver accents, just gloss black. Found a few but nothing that screamed "buy me!" so I'm looking for more options. Right now I'm leaning towards painting (maybe powder coating) my stock rims gloss black unless I find something I like.

Personally, I don't go for the "popped the hubcaps off and went crazy with a rattle can on my steel wheels" look but they're out there. All the rep companies make 'em for sure.
Guess price range would have been helpful. Would definitely like to keep it under $1500 for the set. Won't be mad if I can find a good budget rim that's even cheaper though. Not interested in used unless they are somehow immaculate. About to paint the car and want new looking rims with new paint.

Honestly, if you don't go with pre-owned wheels, I would look into a set of Enkei - RPF1, PF01, Raijin, Tenjin, whatever works with budget and your taste - and have 'em coated gloss black. My P/C guy is good and inexpensive, relatively. Media blast, rim correction, 3-stage color/2-stage clear (or something close to that)... about $500.

Love mine.... easily one of the best wheels I've ever run. Period. And my pristine set - with tires (despite my having swapped them out) - was well under a grand. That is the definition of "bang-fo'-buck" or "value" as us old folks like to say. Laff...
OK this may be a dumb question, but I notice there are a lot of all black wheels, except for the center cap. Is there anything wrong with just popping out the center cap?
So far, the RPF1s are the front runner right now, but I still want to look around.
Also, if I get the stock widths, 8" front 8.5" rear I believe, will those hold 245 and 265 tires if I choose to go wider on my next set?

S'far as 265 on 8.5s, it'll work but you're right on the edge of the limit for tire width:wheel width ratio (but not a biggee). Any reason you don't want to go with at least 9 or 9.5? If you go 9.5, you can go even larger later on
BUT know that if you go with 15mm offset, you'll likely have to roll your rear fenders - particularly if you're lowered - with anything larger than 265. Just reference info.
I don't care for wheels without caps but it's not that big of a deal. Or you can just paint it black.

Gram Lights 57DR are full blacked out and are in your price range.....also comes in perfect fitment for the Z (18x9.5 +22 and 18x10.5 +22).....should be around 1700 brand new! These will also clear the OEM Brembos or even the Stop Tech BBK...just in case

Lol, I love mine. Not many folks running Super Laps in my area besides me. It's all a matter of preference. Some enjoy spinner wheels, some like Varrdogg reps. All preference. Op good luck with whatever you decide. I would save up for that FI kit first before buying a decent set of wheels.
