Default 350z Extended studs OR 370Z studs

I was looking to fit 10mm spacers on my 350z
Pricing for the APR studs would be around 150 for 4 wheels

I was told by someone they are running 370z wheel studs instead and can run 10mm spacers no problem.

Anyone heard of running 370z studs on a 350z and is this a cheaper option? Any limitations for track use ect?

You just can't go wrong with ARP studs; particularly if you're increasing the axial load by running spacers. The ARP studs on my 350Z T1-2-3 racecar has run the same wheel studs for years and are extremely durable.

I though you didn't need longer studs for under 12mm

I stripped a set of studs installing my 5mm spacers for a test fit, I don't think 12 if even going to have a thread

^^^ I'm with terrasmak.

It might be technically true that under 10mm works OK; but I ran into a bit of a loosening issue with just a pair of 5mm slip-ons (using Rays Duralum lug nuts, perhaps tangentially part of the issue); so to avoid further complications/safety issues, have avoided my cache of slip-ons to be safe.

Only wheels I have left that require spacers are my LMZ5 370Z wheels and those I have to run 20mm bolt-ons (for the front) so no issue there.

S'far as running 370Z studs... they're the same as Z33 so no advantage unless maybe you were referring to Z33 v Z34 wheels/offsets.... or something. But then again, since they're extended, would think that slip ons - as well as bolt ons - would work just fine.

I run 8mm slip-on spacer no problem with aluminum lug nuts
