Default +15 or +22? Flush-ish Fitment

Trying to get fitment along the lines of these two cars, specifically the black one. The red has a little too much camber in the back but is still pretty similar. Do you think it would be better to just get +22 and use spacers if need be, or do you think +12 would be enough to get that "tucked & flush" sort of look that the black car has? Of course I would want to avoid spacers if possible. 19x9.5 in front and 19x10.5 in back, only offsets available are +12 and +22. Thanks for the help.

All depends on tire choice and suspension. Lowered modestly and on 9.5/10.5, running 255/35 & 285/35 works just fine so long as you plan to or have rolled your rear lips.

No pics on this computer away from home but you can find a couple of examples here:

9.5/10.5 +22 (both) example here: https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-n...l#post10881561

And +25F/+12R in a post just above the one above or by clicking here: https://my350z.com/forum/2003-2009-n...l#post10865508

I'd be fine with a minor stretch, but the car is my daily so I can't go too crazy with it. Currently on stock suspension right now too.

+22 Extends 40mm past factory wheel in the rear. Go measure

Get the +12, from the sound of things if you get the +22 youll probably end up with spacers.

currently running 19x10.5 +22 and needs spacers front and rear. if flush fitment is what you're aiming for. go +12. otherwise you'll be buying spacers also.

you would be better off running a 255 up front and 275 rear... unless you like the stupid stretch look

Needs spacers? I dunno... personally think it'd be a disaster to put spacers on these +22s...

Or maybe I'm not at the definition of "flush"? Hmmm, where's the bathroom at? FTR, I hate the term "flush".... I prefer "tire contact patches maximized to the available track width without negative effect to the scrub radius."

But that's just my preference.

That's sticking out wayy past fender. +22 would have been perfect by itself, but why get 10.5" wide wheels if you're not going to get a tire that fits properly. Seem's like you're adding weight for nothing. Should have gotten 8" wide for those tire sizes

This "flush" conversation is pointless without talking about your ride height. The two pictures below are the exact same wheel & specs. Only change is the ride height. The natural camber from the car being lowered will effect the appearance of "flush"

Nice compare. Only thing that would fluster me is the change in steering response. Notice much diff on curvy roads/track between the two camber "settings"? What is the front at when dropped like that?

The lower picture is fully aired out so I definitely could not drive like that. At ride height the front camber is only 2 degrees. Aired out I have no idea. So whenever I drive, the steering response remains constant thankfully.

Ahhhhh, yeah, forgot that your car is on air.... thought they were before/after suspension mods pics. (And in a way it is. ) But again, great perspective on this.

The +12s will push the wheels out 10mm further than the +22. The amount they will stick out is also dependent on the wheel width.

Gee, when I wrote that, never thought it'd come in handy to anyone....
