Default 225/40/r18 88w 18 x 7.5 square set up

Someone sells them cheap. Same size. Is it possibke to do a square set up like this tires are 225 40 rims are 18 7.5. I have little knowledge about cars did some research and never seen this kind of set up, so just wondering thx for any input

so you want to go to a narrower wheel than stock?

As Travlee said, this is going the wrong direction. Stock front wheels are already 8" wide (rears generally 8"+). Going to 7.5" is a counterintuitive move. AND, don't make the mistake of buying wheels based on bolt pattern only (which is the #1 reason for fail fits of bad wheels on any car!). You have NOT noted the offset which is AS IMPORTANT (actually moreso) than width. Read up on PROPER OFFSET and then go out looking for wheels. 5x114.3 PCD fits so many cars, from Nissans to Hondas to Fords, etc that its probably the most universal pattern in the modern world but often with the WRONG offsets as needed by the various makes/models. You can fit a Nissan wheel to a Mustang but that might be equally "as wrong" as using a high offset Honda wheel on a Z.

Those sound like a good option.... for a 2004 civic ex. Just no.
