Tire width needed for rims?
Im investing in some new rims, tires will obviously go along with it.
I curious to know if a 18x225 front and 18x245 rear will be able to fit any rims and not look odd. What kind of rims can these tire fit in terms of size 7.5 or 8.5.
Any input would be great.

225/45/18s are recommended for rim widths of 7 to 8", with 7.5" being optimum. 245/45/18s are recommended for widths of 7.5" to 9" with 8" being optimum.
Why, though would you not go with the standard upgrade 18" sizing. 8.5" rim width in front with 245/40/18 and 9.5" rim width in the rear with 275/40/18. These sizes work great. Nismo forged wheels are available for $1799. plus $60. for shipping.
