So recently I made the sweet purchase of some 370z NISMO V1 Wheels for my 2003 Nissan 350z. I am currently on stock height and have gotten my rear wheels on the car as I type this. The problem lies in the front wheels. The specs on the front wheels are 19x9.5x40. The issue lies in the fact that the upper control arm is rubbing against the wheel (somehow). I have tried 15mm spacers and they seem like they would do the trick but come to realize that the spacers do not fit my car and the wheel. So this is my cry for help. What kind of spacers do I need to get these beautiful 370z Nismo V1 wheels to adapt to my stick wheel hub? Please delete this if this is not allowed on this thread as I am new here and I am just trying to figure out how this forum works. I understand in the pictures below that the front wheels look on but they in fact were "resting" on the studs (which is horrible). Please any advice would be great. If you have any questions about the wheels and other parts I might have missed in my story, please ask and I will get back to you ASAP. Before. After.
Nice pickup! I've always liked how those wheels look on a Z33.
Two IMPORTANT things to remember: 1) You need to use the same "shank-style" lug nuts found on the Z34/370Z to mount those wheels properly. You definitely should not use the conical style lug nuts that came on the Z33/350Z. 2) A 20mm bolt-on spacer on the front should work. Just make sure it has the same lug pattern (5x114.3) and the hub bore is the same size (66.1) because you want hub-centric spacers over bolt-centric.

Just for the sake of equal time, I've used these (several - like a dozen - sets, but none that stayed on the car very long because I always sold wheels with them) and never an issue.
I love those wheels, I just don't like using spacers as a personal preference.
Now go get the right lugs and spacers. While you're at it, get those front fender liners and undertray installed! (I noticed they're missing!). The undertray is especially important for maintaining bumper rigidity and fender liners protect the electronics for your headlights.
Note: The fender liners can be picked up cheap (aftermarket on Amazon and includes hardware). For the undertray, I highly recommend one of the aluminum kits (many companies make them like Z1, CZP, & Zspeed, these also include new hardware).
Cheers!
