Default Stupid wheels... Help with Spacer Suggestions

So I hate the back spacing on my wheels! Ive got tsw wheels i know they are 8" wide but i have no clue on the back spacing (they were on the car when i bought her ) I know i could put spacers on it but i feel like that won't do enough to get them flush with the wells! and not to mention they are a narrow wheel... so my question is should i just get spacers? or should i just start with a new wheel platform with better original back spacing? how much better traction will i get being able to put a 275 in the back compared to the 245 im running now? I am planning on dropping it a little just to reduce the wheel gap.

Dump those weaksauce wheels and go with something new, preferable 9.5 wide in the front and 10.5 in the back. Lose the grill as well. Good luck.

I would not try to salvage such a conservative setup with spacers

You should just save for a set of Enkei's or similarly priced wheels instead:

Sounds like its unanimous, Could you guys give me some brands that would be acceptable?? and some help with a good back spacing? preferably under 1k for a set. Im thinking about going with 19x10.5 on the back and 19x10(or 9.5) in the front.

Going to be tough with that budget but it's possible.

Im thinking a 5 spoke wheel, the color doesnt matter too much, either black or gold ( i have hook ups with powder coating so i can get my wheels whatever color for next to nothing) yeah i know it will be tough... but gotta deal with what i can afford... to be honest its my DD so it will only see track time maybe once or twice a year.

If you up your budget roughly $200 more you could go with the relatively lightweight TSW Interlagos or Nurburgring's.

spacers will help, but those look like crap. Your budget is around 1k? Get some used varrstoens with tires, ive seen them go for 900-1200 used all day long
