Default 245-40-18 ?

i was wondering if i put 245 40 on my rear track rims they are would it interfear with the TSC because the tires in that size are alot cheaper than 265 35 and that is the only size up from the 245s

thanks

You can get 255.

I have 245/45/18 and 255/45/18.

Next time I will go with 40 profile to reduce sidewall height.

Other configurations I have seen here are 245/40/18 with 255/45/18 or 245/40/18 with 255/40/18

Sorry, if it is the MX then it only comes in 245 or 265, the 265/35 would really reduce your overall diameter too much and your speedo will be off, not sure what your fronts are so I can't tell if the front to rear difference will affect anything.

As for the Dyno go here for more info http://www.sfzcc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=297 I have only been sending updates to those that emailed me, but we will start at 10 am let me know if you are going email me at gusm@sfzcc.com so far I have 22 cars and wanted to limit it to 25 so don't want too many more or surprise drop ins, I would like to finish at a decent hour so we can go get a bite to eat afterwards.

It will be pretty cool as there will be 16 350Z's (17 if you come) so it will be a nice comparison of various moded cars.

Id choose a different tire then. or get 265/40 if thats an option.

245/40 isnt so great either, its not wider than the stock tread, only shorter.

you really want/need 245/45 255/45 265/40 IMO.

Actually, 275/40 is the best option. Check out this link for tire size calculator www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html My street tires are 245/40 fronts w/ 275/40 rears. The % are very close to stock. I know other road racers on this forum have used 245/40 all around and have had no problems. This will be my TT set up with 245/40 Toyo RA1s.

275/40 is the right size, but too wide for the track rims. IMO, the best choice is 255/45/18 for the rear and 245/40/18 in front.
