Will this work?
I finally have some money to buy better wheels.
I'm desided to go with 17x8 Enkei RPF1 rims all around.
Also I desided on tires: Toyo Proxes t1s.
I'm still not sure what tire width to get. I would want to have same width front and rear.
255/45/17 all around seems to be very close in circumference to OEM. .8% too fast for rear and 0.7% too slow for front. But I'm loosing the OEM difference between front and rear...
Do you think it's okay for street wheels setup?
Is 255 is going to fit fine on 8" wide rims?
Thanks.

For the very little difference in cost I would go with the 17X9 in front and the 17X9 1/2" rear. That is what I am running.
You can either run 245/45/17 front with 255/24/17 rears OR
run 275/40/17 fronts and 285/40/17 rears.
I have run both combos on the car with RS*R springs and no rubbing.
Get the widest rim you can now or you won't be able to run the wider tires later when you find out you still don't have enough rubber to keep from burning the tires.
I also run the Kumho MX's on my wheels.
My local Discount tire got me my wheels and tires for just over $1600 (9"+9 1/2" w/275+285 combo that is)
The center caps don't come with the wheels and are about $13ea. and you will need tuner lugnuts.

I don't want to go with wider wheels. Partially because I'm going to run autocross on this wheels too, and partially because I don't think I need much wider tires. As long as I launch clean, I don't have slipping problems.
