Whats the cost of Powdercoating? Might be more economical to just buy some aftermarkets? Not to mention the stock rims are so narrow you have a hard time putting large enough tires on them. But Black on Black looks good.

Cost is 350 for a set and an additional 100 if you want them clearcoated too. As far as the width of the rim. The stock 17s can hold 275's. I have a friend that is on his second set of them, they have never given him a problem yet.

Where can you find those wheels? I searched but I can't find them at all. Any help? Also, anyone else out there know of some wheels (and distributors) that are black with the polished lip other than the makiavelli's. Thanks a lot.

Their are several wheels that have black centers with a polished lip...

SSR's (like above)

Work , Faboulous, ect...

be prepaired to spend some $$$ if you go with the Work's...

I was quoted $1260.00 per wheel for my GTR but the SSR's are more resonable..

www.bulletproofautomotive.com

has the SSR's(another pic below) and Work's

I'm not sure it would look good without a polished lip. It's just too much black with nothing to break it up. There's a guy on here with 19" Work Equips that are color-matched black. Looked mean as hell. I may do that with my G35c.

SSR proffessors are gorgeous. I almost got em but didnt want to wait for 3 months to get em. TEs were available immediately so I got em.

Dont waste money powdercoating stock 17s. Those wheels suck. Save the money for some better wheels. If you are conceerned with price then get 5Zigen FNO1RCs. They are cheap but lightweight and can be ordered in black.

Best Wishes
