Wondering if anyone waxed their wheels or did anything to help protect them. If so, please tell what you did. Thanks

 

I use Zaino on my wheels and it works wonders. Shines up great and reduces the amount of brake dust that collects on them. Try using Z-5 or Z-2.

 

I use Meguires Quik Detail Wax...just don't wax them when hot.

 

zaino here, you have volks, volks have a clearcoat, treat them as you would your car. wax them with any way thats safe for clear coat.

 

I use Meguires or Zymol on my wheel. Luckilly mine are pretty easy to wax.

 

350Zteve, be careful with your rims.. I heard they are very soft finish and can come off.. but at the same time, their the best rims out there imo. I bet those costed a pretty penny Keep em clean!

 

my friend has a 50th ann. vette..hes waxes the inside and outside of his rims with a floor wax. He does it once a year. He said he washed his car last sunday and the water STILL beaded up. Hes giving me some of this floor wax and im gonna attempt it. so Ill let you guys know how it goes.

not sure,hes does floor waxing on the side and i know he buys it in big *** jugs...im gonna see him again on monday so i'll ask.

 

zymol is in the auto stores. actually, here it is also in the drug stores. it is in a blue bottle. or a clear container with the blue product. it comes in either a liquid or a "paste". very easy to apply. smells kind of like coconut.
