Default those of you with nitto555...

What type of tread life are you able to get from these tires. No tracking on the tires, just highway driving. Thanks for the help

Default NITTO 555

I have around 4k on mine. I don't baby it, but I don't auto-x or anything either. I'm pleased with how they look and no feathering on the front that I can see (had them off to do brake work last week so got to inspect them). They have some serious tread to start with. Something like 300 or so I don't remember.

my $.02

I have 15K and two track events (one in semi-rain) on my 555's. Still have plenty of tread.

I have about 10k on it and two trips to the dragstrip. Still have lots of thread left.

Not any worst than the stockers. I prefer to listen to the Borla and Crawford cats rather than the tires though.

I have 27,000 miles on my front with still about 25% tread left and I replaced the rears with about 24,000 miles on them and I drive the car very hard... I probably could of got another 5000 miles or so on the rears if I would of dismounted them and flipped them before the insides wore from neg camber... BTW, I have 235's in the front and 275's in the back...

thanks for the response, and GatorZ, I know what you mean by the borla/crawford mesh! What a great combo. I'm hoping to do the same in the near future.

Not any more than the 245/275 combo.. Their is more important reasoning why i went with that combo.... the combo is 235/40/18 and 275/35/18... I had the factory 17's, not 18's and stock the 17's have an overall smaller diameter, so instead of going with the 245/40 and 275/40 combo that would of been taller than my stock, I went with my setup to be slightly lower.... Smaller diameter = better acceleration... and the 235/40 and 275/35 has the right front to back difference I needed.....
