Wheel up help please
I am looking for the best way to get rid of wheel up. After speaking to some shop friends I have gotten a few suggestions...
Lower the air pressure in the rear tires. Thats kind of a no-brainer, but too much of a hassle. I'm looking for a more perminent solution.
Traction Arms, seen those on a few parts sites. Annyone with experience know how well they do?
Some kind of rubber bushings? Anyone know or heard of these?
It's real hard to get off the gas when your trieing to run out of the hole. The wheel hop kills my time and generally sounds like crap. Any suggestions?

What kind of rims and tire are you running? I dont have any wheel hop in my car. Wheel hop in a independent rear suspension is baaad. Usually more associated with full axle cars, like a mustang.

I'v also got wheel hop. I believe EVERY 350Z has wheel hop when launching under certain conditions. I get it about 15% of the time that I launch.
I would also like to know what I could do to permanently get rid of it.
Also, I herd that the 300ZX's have pretty bad wheel hop too from what the owners have told me.

you could go to stiffer bushings. spl parts makes a whole set of replacement suspension parts for the 300zx that totally does away with the bushings, using spherical bearings and heim joints instead to eliminate this in those cars. I think dwnshft is the only one selling harder bushings for us. There was a great article on the spl parts in the same sport compact car that compares the nismo 350z to stock.
