Who can 'splain wheel stagger?
Hey Guys, hope it's not too much to ask, but I got some newbie questions. Just got my first sports car, fell in love with LS/BO 350Z roadster. I ordered it with factory 18"(more I see 'em, more I like 'em), but will probably want to change out to some nice rims and new SO3s at about 15000.
Hopefully somebody can help me see the light.
1. Should I stay with 18" (not a tracker, but wkend fun car) or would 19-20" be better?
2. What is this wheel stagger thing that I need to keep in mind? Do my next set of rims need to be wider?
3. Looks like most folks go with Volks, Nismo rims, anybody had any experience with PIAA rims? What should I look for in quality?
That's enough for now, thanks for your help.

stagger... your front wheels and tires are narrower, and shorter than your rears.
Dont worry so much about the width, but on a Z you want to have between a 1/2" to 3/4" height difference front to rear...or as close to that as you can

I understand the width diff, but not sure what you mean by "shorter". Sounds like I need to talk to you when I get ready. DiscountTire has always had a good name in my book. Thanks for the help, just trying to learn what to look for in an improved ride. Love the stiffness of stock, but if there's something else out there better, I'm interested.
