its a good wheel on the Z...nice! Back tire is a bit big for 8.5, but it still looks great.

I really don't understand ppl who staggered the tires on the same size wheels. If you run same size wheels, use same size tires. If you want to run wider tires in the back, get the wider wheels.
There are a lot of nice wheels in the market that's not made for the Z and some shop just sell them anyway. I've seen some Z with 40 offset wheels on and I really can't stand it.

Nice wheels BTW, see if they would exchange the rear to 9.5" instead. It'll look WAY better, trust me.

Default TPS

Did the Konig Imagine wheels work with the TPS sensors? Or did you have to make some modifications? I am thinking about getting some, but 18X7.5 front and 18X8.5 rear. What tires should I get?

Hi,
NIce looking wheels. I recently purchased the same set of Imagines, with the same tire setup(Nitto 555). I'm having them put on at the end of this week (7-3-04). I couldn't confirm, but it looks like your were able to use the TPMs. Is this true?
If not were there any problems?
Regards!

I actually called Konig about these rims and the person I talked to said that if I had the touring edition Z (which I do) that the Imagine wheels wouldn't work because they don't make the correct offset size that is needed.

z-prowler, what kind of Z do you have? I really want these wheels, but only if they are correct for the car. I don't want to just throw them on because they look good if it's gonna screw something up down the road. I also asked them if the TPS sensors would work, but they didn't know.

Hi Chris,
I have a touring Model with a manual 6 speed. I was told by the guys at Racing2K (my local vendor), that these wheels wouldn't fit on the Track model, due to the Brembro brakes. I have also not been able to confirm or deny the ability to use the TPMs. I hope they will work, because they are really a nice safety feature.
A local shop is going to try to mount the wheels this Saturday, so I'll let you know how it turns out.
Thanks for the quick reply!

PS from your picture, it looks like you changed your shift indicator to a bright Blue LED. This that true?

That's cool. I am really anxious to hear how it turns out. Also, what size wheels and tires are you going to try?
