Lightbulb Purchasing Toyo Proxies T1-S

I cannot use the search feature right now, so I have to create a new post. I was curious where the best site is to buy these tires. I remember going to one site that had good prices, but I can't recall what it was. Does anyone know the best place to buy these tires?

I've purchased tires from www.onlinetires.com and they have good prices. My S-03s were significantly less than from tire rack.

I just bought, 2 245/40/18 T1s from edgeracing.com for $165 per. That is one of the best prices I have seen online. Shipping was $18 total.

I just bought T1S from

Scot Reinen at Treadepot.com, (888)421-8473, scot@treadepot.com

Price for wheel package was exceptionally good. And delivered promptly. Mention my name if requesting a quota.

1010tires.com, from ordered date to my house in 7 days. They had to ship from Toyo as they didn't carry this size in stock. It would be faster for sizes they carry.

Did you payed the price they have on site? 1010tires seems to have far worst prices I've seen on internet. At least for my size. And than they charge shipping on top of that!

Ya, they're biggens. Went with the 10.5's in the rear because I've got the 3.9 final drive coming. Also, I went with a pretty tame offset, so I probably won't have to roll until I lower it. Only planning a mild drop so we'll see. But if I have to, I have to. Now if my rims would just show up before Saturday, I'd be ready for the track.

Ugh! Its so not fair! I wish they would make 295's on a 19" rim. My choices are so limited.

Hey.. what's a good combination thats similar to stock with T1-s? They don't make a 225 wheel, so what set would you do on the car to maintain the balence? I have a stock touring, so those are 8" all the way around if I recall.

Would you have to do 245/40/18 in the front, and 255/45/18 in the rear to keep it close to stock diameters.. but even still that's not perfect. Wouldn't the car look funky with different sidewall profiles? And the with the tires being closer in width front to back, doesn't that make the car understeer more?

Any of you guys still have the stock 18" rims from the touring ? I want to change my bridgestone to some other tires but i know a lot of them dont make 225/45/18" or 245. Should i go with 225/40 and 245/40 or something else. Also i dont want to have any problem with the VDC or the speedo reading. Thanks

Yep -- Totally sucks.

Toyo T1S in 295/30/19 would be absolutely amazing. Maybe we can use the power of the internet and whine enough to toyo and get them to consider making this.

I'm on S03's now which stick like glue but are among the heaviest power-sapping tires available. I'll probably end up going with the T1S in 255 and 275 like you, but that's gonna stretch them and also kill the advantage of having 10.5 in the back.

I have a set of Toyo T1-S'. 245/35R19 and 275/35R19.

What PSI should they be inflated to for everyday use? Max ratings are 50 and 44. Thanks.

Contact link... I guess it won't hurt to ask for it.

From the Toyo Site:

We are open to and welcome our customer's requests for new sizes. This can only lead to a better product line. Please submit your requests

That size probably will not be out in the T1S since we are developing a replacement for that tire this fall. All I can say is watch the internet and our site for more info. Probably be coming in September. Questions, please e-mail me as I am not on this board that often. YoungC@toyotires.com
