I have the stock 18" wheels with 225/45 front and 245/45 rear. I would like to keep the stock 18" x 8" but put as wide a tire as I can on the stock 18" x 8", will 265/45 on rear and move the current rear 245/45 to the front work?
Will the stock 18" wheels hold the 265's or will they ballon out

 

slightly. may not be really noticeable. 275 has definite bulge. check out tirerack.com and check alternate sets of p-sports. you will see a 245 front and 265 rear set up. good luck. post pics please if you go this route!

 

They should work.

I use 265/35 as my racing tires on the Z's stock 18" wheels, which are 8" wide. If the G's are also 8" then you should be OK. The have a little bulge, but it's not too bad.
