hmmm...i wonder
...if it is possible to only replace front springs. the reason i ask, is because it seems to me that the ideal set up for the coupe is to have near stock (or stiffer) linear springs in the rear, with a set of progressive in the front. now, i dont know about anyone else's personal taste, but the rear of my stock coupe appears lower than the front from most angles. i am of the opinion that a car looks better with the front end lower than the rear, which is why i am partial to the h-techs which give a lower drop up front than most other springs. but i dont particularly care for the fact that the rear h-techs are so cushy. so, if anyone has tried this, or has any kind of knowledge about it: is it possible for me to simply switch out the front springs with the h-techs, and leave the rear stock?
i know i am likely to get the 'you're wasting your money by not using the rear' or 'its gonna look stupid' ... and my responses in advance to those comments are 1) i am not very concerned about the $140. and 2) the drop with the h-techs is subtle enough that i think it will balance the appearance of a car that has a natural squat to it.
thanks in advance!!! (no comments from you dollar
