Default Toyo Tire Info

Yes Toyo is finally present in this forum. I am new to this forum but not new to the industry. Some of you might know me from my travels, if there are any questions on Toyos or tires in general, please post them here or e-mail me at YoungC@toyotires.com since I am not always on this board and I therefore might miss some posts.
Looking forward to assisting in anyway that I can.

Does toyo plan on making the T1-s Proxies in the stock dimension for the Z? You don't have a 225/45/18 which is the stock dimension for the front.

From what I gathered from another post he made, apparently theres a new line coming out that will be replacing the T1S this fall so they won't be adding any new sizes to the current line.

The T1S will be replaced but it will not happen until March-April 2005. You guys are safe until then. The tire is over 5 years old, so we need to get it up to date with technology. Don't worry, it will be as good, if not better than the current T1S.

Chris, I was told a few months back that you all were planning on offering more 18" sizes for the RA1. Is this true and if so, when?

The 18" RA1 sizes are as follows: 225/40/18, 245/40/18, 275/35/18, 305/35/18 & 335/30/18. These are all of the sizes for now, the 245 & 305 were introduced earlier this year. For specs, please check out our website, www.toyo.com

Will a 245/45/17 front and 255/45/17 rear fit well on the stock 17" rims? They are 7.5" up front and 8" in the rear. The current tire size is 225/50/17 front and 235/50/17 rear

Welcome aboard Chris! Thanks to you and Toyo for your support of the ZCCA Convention Track Day at Willow Springs this year. We are also looking forward to your support at next year's Watkins Glen event, and last but not least, our club's hosting of the 2006 Z Convention here in DFW, Texas! The track event with Toyo Tire sponsorship is scheduled for Motor Sports Ranch!
