Default Front tires size for 19s?

On a 19x8.5 wheel up front, is it better to run a 245/35/19 or a 255/35/19? I have always heard that 245/35/19 was what you wanted to run, but then I saw someone say that 255/35/19 is actually a better fit?

245/35/19 will give you the diameter that is closest to stock. It is the recomended size. This size has very little sidewall though. I may put 245/40/19 on next time for this reason.

I just put 255/35/19 in the front and 275/35/19 in the rear today. I've only got about 20 miles on them, but so far they are awsome! I'll try to get some pics this weekend.

I was actually wondering the same thing too, but the person who recommended this size does these all day long and I have no doubt he knows what hes doing. Also helps that he's family.

Sweet. So I guess it is safe to say that 255/35/19 will be a good chose.
