No, this is the major prob with Volks - as soon as your wheels are discontinued you are screwed. My bro had CP-05's (awesome awesome wheels, Mercedes copied them on the C32) and one was damaged...getting it repaired was a royal pain in the ***. The paint could not be matched to the other 3 rims, so all had to be repainted...cost almost as much as the entire set did new. My advice is to avoid potholes and curbs at all costs. :-)

I just got the Koblenz. The wheel doesn't sit right on the bore and my dealer didn't send me any hubcentric rings. Anyone know where I can get some? I'm gonna call Falken up MOnday. I guess I should post pics. I think I may get a 15mm spacer for the rear wheels. It's not too tucked in, but I want it out a little more. Wheels look better in person. It has gunmetal accents. Not all sivler like in the pics.

Which Volk wheels was that? Do you have a pix of the CP-05's?
Are you comparing sure its not the Racinghart CP-035's?
Avoiding potholes and curbs should go for all wheels.

We need some pics of this wheel on a Z. Also weight and cost would be nice. I have heard they are as light as the TE37's.

How bad is the damage? I see that you are in Fort Worth. There is a great wheel repair shop in the Arlington/Dallas area called Wheels America. They can repair or fix just about anything and they are very inexpensive. We have sent several Volks, including two GT-7's to them and they did a fabulous job. Let me know if you want their contact info.

we've used our local Wheels America place too - they did awesmw work ona very expensive set of Speedlines I had on my Subaru way back when.

Hit a HUGE pothole on a backroad one night, and put a pizza slice shaoped dent in my wheel - not cool.

The wheels were discontinued at the time as well- not to mention my set took nearly 3 months to get from Europe initially due to backorders.

Brought them the damaged wheel, they matched the paint nearly 100%, and I had the wheel back the next day - was well worth the $1xx they charged me

Your welcome to use my car for demonstration purposes I would prefer a lower offset +22 (like most people have with the TE37's) I was also wondering about the weight. Is it the same or lighter than the TE37's?
