Question Question about RAYS lugs????

I have been looking at a ton of lightwt lugs, I have even bought a pair and returned them because they were too long, I have let a shop come with me out to my car and try one on (too short and small).

Here is what I am looking for

COLOR-Silver
LENGTH-same as stock or slightly shorter
STYLE-light weight/aluminum, Close ended

it sounds crazy, but to get this combo, it is IMPOSSIBLE. So, I am thinking about buying a set or rays and taking a dremel tool to the face and polishing that part (should I get black, or red and have that color slightly reflect in the lug holes in the wheels, could looking intresting??). I am just NOT sure how much short they (RAYS) are than Stock. Anyone have any ideas or measurements. I would DEEPLY appreciate it, I have been driving all over SoCalif trying to find a solution.

There are 2 different size RAYS lugs, regular and long. I have the regular ones in black, they are a little shorter than the stock lugs, but they fit my wheels perfectly. They're also super light. Hope that helps.

We have these...

5Zigen Light Weight Lugs

Each one weights less then 1 ounce... ( 0.9 ounces )

The black rays lugs that come with the NISMO LMGT4''s are 1.6 ounces each...

BLUE / RED and TITANIUM in stock... (blue and titanium pictured on the wheels)

I am not sure you are going to find something shorter... maybe the black ray's nuts that come with the LMGT$'s are what you are looking for?

sell you mine slightly used :-/

JASON, I actually bought the 5 zigens and put them on, they were too long for what I wanted (the Ti color ones are very pretty).

I am actually interested in your RAYS, what kind of condition are they in and how long are they????

rodH, the measurements of the two lugs are:

Stock
overall length: 1.60"
internal thread depth: 0.69"

Rays
overall length: 1.21"
internal thread depth: 0.87"

Correction to above. The lugs I measured are supplied with the Nismo LM GT4 wheels made by Rays Engineering. I am not 100% sure that the supplied lugs are identical to the lugs sold separately by Ray's Engineering. Lets call them Nismo lugs, okay :^)

thanks a TON for the pics, it is worth a 1000 words.

now I am in a HUGE delema. It looks like those are waaaay shorter than would look good on my wheels (I don't want them to far in). The 5 Zigens went out waaaay to far, is there anything in between????

WHAT about the long RAYS, how long are they compared to stock??? (sorry to keep buggin)

The pic above looks exactly like mine. I would assume they are the same. Someone on here has the longer ones. They're red on black TE-37's. I'll see if I can find a pic.
